chevyboy51 Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 problem is I seem to keep blowing them. i know the head is flat. The last one went about 4 hours it was a no name that came with my pistons(should have known better) the one before went for about 2 months that was a cosmetic. I heard some people say that a stock is best what do you guys think. Quote
[email protected] Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 head gaskets shouldnt blow like that , however i blew mine and the question is why...... seems like a million dollar question . Im runnin a ebay special gasket and have had no problem since . Quote
strokersquid Posted November 5, 2005 Report Posted November 5, 2005 with the powervalve heads ( rz ) the stock work best if the head is cut. if not any brand will work Quote
BdBanshee Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 I kept blowing the Cometics, switched back to stock and no more problems. Quote
