Is this a good deal?

a buddy of mine has a 1997 banshee red/black stock. its in all right shape, Runs but not good, needs a clutch basket and maybe a top end: he wants $500 to get out of it.

 

what do you think??? buy or pass

i think its good, it should only cost like $250 for a rebuild and $75 for a basket. depending on where you like, you could easily get 2 grand out of it, maybe even $2500 if your close to the dunes.
