bansheefreak Posted November 5, 2005 Report Posted November 5, 2005 sorry to hear about your buddy dg... but how come ppl dont slow down and/or stop when you can see the ground in front of you... if i cant see the ground i slow down no matter how many times i take out the south gate make a right head to big dunes i slow on every rollin hill ..when i see sand i givr more gas to the next dune or rolling hill...but really if you dont see ground in front of you slow down ..when you are going up hill eventually its gonna go down so slow down till you see what s ahead... I did not witness either. Pretty typical for a large weekend at imperial sand dunes though, but always sad. Probably much less typical at LS? Always hard to lose someone you know or care about... bansheefreak Posted November 5, 2005 Report Posted November 5, 2005 most deaths at ls are from ppl flying over dunes then falling 60 ft then quad htting them or then falling on there head... not very likly you get hit by someone but it happens... but even on waynoka messege board the medic will say most ppl die when they fly off a dune and normally with in 6 hrs of arriving....so first 6 hrs i drink beer...
