westexgt Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 When you are doing events like that it is always safe to have a kill switch, that way nobody gets hurt!!! Two years ago me and a couple buddies did a parade and some of the younger kids were doing the things you listed, right after the parade a cop was all over there a$$. Kevin Quote
Bettler Banshee Posted October 26, 2005 Author Report Posted October 26, 2005 Yeah well... Funny thing is the cops were egging us on.... Oh well... ya kno... its all about playing the waiting game now.... Quote
Ducman Posted October 27, 2005 Report Posted October 27, 2005 Its all fun and games untill someone looses an eye. Then its more fun and games with your friend who lost an eye. Bettler Banshee, I think you have learned a couple of lifes hard lessons and you will be better off in the future for having learned them. Unfortunately the present will probably suck. Good luck. kenr74 Posted October 27, 2005 Report Posted October 27, 2005 I've ridden in a parade and there were well defined rules layed out before we were allowed on the route. Those organizers are morons. You should have known better than to be pulling stunts though. Atleast you know what you did wrong and sound like you are sorry for it. The part that bothers me is that you weren't wearing helmets. Doing stunts on pavement with no helmet is a quick way to end up dead. Quote
loganskinner Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 hell i just like how the article says that the police are pointing fingers because they dont know whos fault it was. and if the stunts we SOOO dangerous, and people didnt think you should have been doing them, somone would have stopped you from doing them, not just watched. like was said earlier, its all fun and games til you hit the old lady in the chair.
