MonoxideChild420 Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 i have t5's with k&n pod filters i was wanting to know which size jets. i got the kit from vitos. it came wiht 280's and 300's.. i was thinking the 300's with the clip at the 4th one from the top. also i noticed one of the needles are barely bent like more of a ding in it instead of a bend near the tip. so how could that affect it.. i mean its not much of a dent but its enough to notice, its just i figured it would be ok since it still went down in the hole straight Quote
odaen Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 310 main, with the toomey needles 3rd clip from the top. Quote
2003LimitedBanshee Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 It also really depends on your elevation and temp. In Florida I assume your near sea level (don't know I'm from west coast), and probably around 80 degrees or so. With that setup I would also guess around 310 maybe 320 depending on your individual bike. I run my Toomey needle in the 4th position, but it should definitely be 3rd or 4th. Probably 27.5 pilot at 2 turns or so. Quote
MonoxideChild420 Posted October 14, 2005 Author Report Posted October 14, 2005 yeah your correct, its around 80, maybe 76 cause its getting cooler, but its not the toomy needles anyore. thayre pink lookin needles, i got them from vitos. they look a lot different than the ones i took out. and im not shure if it was toomy needles to begin with. all i know is that thayre silver and kinda slim compared to the vito ones Quote
decon Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 if your sea level, 300 or 310 and bump the pilots up a size. Quote
