Well last I checked cheetah cub cyls were around 900$ and where is the powere valve??, oh ya NOT THERE, and the ports on the cubs are bigger and work at a higher rpm band which is not what I'm after, the power valve cyls make good low end power and awsome top and now that Ive spent 20 buks on reeds I still have 880$ for carbs, shocks, and porting! maybee more depending on the deals I may find on ebay!!

I think the conversion will go smoothley and I'll keep you all updated, esp. loboboy who loves talking smak, we'll see how long it takes to do!

You can lop off the intake necks and weld on ones taken off YZ 125 cylinders. Voila, YZ 125 reed cage will now fit. (I'm not sure what year YZ 125 cylinders, and I believe stock 125 intake manifolds were also used, they look the same as a banshee) Thats what a local builder did to his bike and its bad ass. I dont know how much the reeds/intake actually helped though.

sorry but theres alot more to it than that.sure you can just cut them off the yz jugs and weld them on the shee jugs ,but thats not a conversion done right.all you are doing is grafting the flanges on. i think passionre will back me up on this when i say the average guy is not going to do a conversion he is only going to modify the intake flange to make the bigger reeds fit.thats why my jugs with conversion run so great.when the mandone the cylindersi have,he actully cut probally a quarter of my jugs off at least and reformed them.he did'nt weld on he built them into the shee jugs.i don't want everyone to get the impression that i think your better off with a big reed conversion compared to cubs , cheetahs or t-rexs or what ever.all i'm saying is that the guy that done my jugs knew exactly what he was doing and i may have the only set left in existance.to get a set of conversions to work like mine it will take a lot of work and know how.jim [passionre]had my cylinders awhile back to bore them, ask him about them and what it would take to build a conversion.if you change your mind and would rather have cubs or some other setup passionre would be probally the best guy to talk to in my oppinion.
