jmoore Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 I need some advice badly. I've been reading other threads like crazy but still cannot decide on what size to get. I think I have decided to get some knarlys, but I don't know if I should get 20 or 22 inch tires. I could really use some extra ground clearance but I don't want to jeopordize any performance. For those of you that run a 15/41 setup for your gearing like me, do you think it would be okay to run a 22 inch tire?? john Quote
ogre03 Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Well, front sprockets are cheap, if you really want to run 22's put them on, and you can always drop to a 14 or if need be a 13 to adjust your bike to suit your needs. Quote
2_stroke_me03 Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 i love my knarly tires ...they are real aggressive in the dirt...the size depends on your ridin if you ride mostly trails i get the 20s so you have better low end tire rotation thats what i run....... 22s will give you some top end Quote
