jburner Posted October 5, 2005 Author Report Posted October 5, 2005 Where would I take them to have that done? Can you even tell a difference when this is done, you would think they wouldn't be as good. Quote
JKJK Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 I have a set of 28mm Mikuni's,like new.Very little run time on them.200.00 Quote
jburner Posted October 5, 2005 Author Report Posted October 5, 2005 I think I will just get mine bored out unless I can get a better deal on some 30mm. But thanks ofr the offer. Quote
JKJK Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 How's 175.00 They are my bro's not mine so i can't go to low.But i know he would like to get rid of them, there just collecting dust. Quote
23champ Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 I got some Keihin PWK 28's I'll sell for $200. They only have 2hrs at the most on them. I put them on before I had my motor ported. After the port work I went with 35's. These carbs are like new! Quote
jburner Posted October 6, 2005 Author Report Posted October 6, 2005 IS one type better than the other. I would really rather have 30 MM if I can just bore my stockers to 28. Quote
JKJK Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 In my opinion the pwk's are a better design+much easyer to dial in.The 28 pwk's will be better than the board out stockers.Champ's carbs sound like the best bang for you bucks. Quote
jburner Posted October 7, 2005 Author Report Posted October 7, 2005 I have some pretty extensive port work done so would I be better off going with 30mm. I just no very little about these slight difference in sizes of carbs beyond the obvious (larger carb=more fuel/air). Quote
stroker404 Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 i have extensive port work dont to my bike and 404 big bore, the keihin pwk 28s worked awesome on my bike.. i have a complete set 6 months old with throttle cable, boyesen reeds, intakes, and thumb throttle with stainless cable this is a complete package deal $210.00 Quote
