Ruko Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 I don't know of a measurement. I took mine down to an even radius around the pins. So I made the distance from the pin to the top of the lobe the same as from the pin to the sides. Unfortunately you can't see in those pics but it gives you an idea. Those pics are actually for the neutral back cut. Quote

boonman Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 It allows smoother shifting, and removes the "notchy" feeling ofthe gearbox. It also allows you to find neutral easier, if you do the backcut. But the backcut requires a milling machine, and a carbide endmill. Quote
