because the mikunis are big pieces of shit ,and very bullky in size too ,ive ran both and learn fro mmy pain ,save yourself alot of aggrevation and time and just get the keihin pwks ,theyre alot better trust me. your gonna bolt the mikunis up and its gonna run like shit and when yo u ask someone what to change ... theyre gonna be like " i dont phukin know what to tell ya ... why didnt you just get keihn race carbs ?"

besides being a dork rocketboy is right. mikunis have a ton of things you can change to get that perfect run, so if jetting and calibration is tough for you- you should get the keihn carbs with nice broad adjustments. I run them on my sled 'cause jetting in the snow sucks! but during the summer if you have the time and the talent mikunis are and awesome carb to.

I agree with rocketboy. pwks lot easyer to jet also. Mikunis too many parts. Throttle cable lock sucks. You also have needle jet to f**k with. Theirs that word again. They do run good . Just too many parts. I had a flat slide 36tm on my 86 honda 350x three-wheeler. Built by mickey dunlap. That was a fun bike. I hated jetting it.
