banshee front springs

Those of you that tinkered with your front shocks what rate are you using and what type of ridind do you do. I weight 170lbs and am looking for a spring that will provide a plush ride for trails.I am putting different shocks on but need to find some springs and need to know what spring rate to go for. Buy a set of YFZ450 shocks off ebay for around $200. If you want to play with your shocks the ones that come on the 450's are completely adjustable. Preload, compression and rebound. When I put the shocks on my Banshee I adjusted the preload so I have a nice amount of sag in my front shocks. These shocks are way better than the stock Banshee shocks.The only thing I had to do was take my dremel and remove some of the steel around the upper front shock mounts in the front. Mind you that I did this with a freshly powder coated frame so I was careful not to make this noticeable. Cant even tell that I did this. Definitly a good upgrade for the $$$. I have seen them go for as cheap as $150 and for more than $300. Just be patient!!!
