champ6966 Posted September 22, 2005 Report Share Posted September 22, 2005 hello hq my riding partner just bought a used motor for his shee and since installing it cuts out very bad or misses from the bottom all the way to the top i think it could be electrial but not sure the bike ran fine with the stock motor but we cant find anything obvious wrong is there any way to check the cdi ? we tried hooking mine up but the clips didnt match so tonight were gonna swap coils and un hook his pull cut off switch to be sure its not grounding out any thing else that you guys can think of to check? it seems like the warmer it gets the worse it runs and sometimes it seems ok then when u pin it its puke and crap again if you need more info on bike let me know thx champ6966 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

racerzippy Posted September 22, 2005 Report Share Posted September 22, 2005 I know this sounds stupid, but a buddy of mine once installed the slides in his carbs backwards and had the symptoms that you are describing.
