most of the aftermarket clutches do not need to be installed like the oem ones because they all are the same with no tabs sticking out like the stock ones. when you get your new clutch kit, take the steals and set them up against your stock steal plates you should be able to tell right away what everyone is talking about.

also unless you bought a new stock clutch you don't have to reuse the rubber o-rings that are on the stocker.

damn right buddy , i didnt see no tabs like the clymer shows . probly because i didnt use a stock clutch or was replacin the stock clutch . i went from a dirt digger to a vitos and theres no oring junk in there so i just installed it the way i thought..... WORKED perfect and still workin hard , take it easy
