Dinner Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Hey....ever since i got my banshee, it hasnt been running very good....it starts up and idles, but once you give it gas it bogs for a few seconds then starts to rev up...but it still has the pinging of when its idling when you give it gas...and only once i had it running excellent, i cleaned the carbs put it back together and it ran awesome, shut it off to take it out of the shop, and now it runs like it always has...is my jetting not set up right?...or is there something else....the TORS are gone, and i have: boost bottle, k&n filter kit, dg pipes, stock silencers....all help is greatly appreciated!!..thanks Quote

Do you still have your airbox lid snorkel all that still on the box we need to know every little thing about it also read the jetting articles. Quote

Dinner Posted September 17, 2005 Author Report Posted September 17, 2005 Im going to drain the tank and mix some new gas...choke tub is still there, and the air lid is off because the guy i bought it from has a k&n filter kit, and he said it was jetted for the dg pipes and filter...but maybe not Quote
noissesboyobyalp Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 what ratio are you mixing? i had this problem also. try to shake your quad before you start it b/c oil is denser than gas so it goes to the bottom and then for a little bit thats all your quad runs on causing it to foul. just shake it before you start it.
