I use the upp intake and carb boot, which are always stiff when it comes time to install the carbs. I have used heat in the past just to make the boots soft. Well today I figured the microwave would work. it only took about 25 seconds, dont use the mocrowave. Quote

I was peeping thru the door and was wondering why it was bubbling Figured out why I saved them old stock boots now!! Got er together tonight Shee fired with small kick with choke, fired on the 2nd. I have to get back in the clutch side the damn O-ring at the case was leaking... No biggie! shees-all-fired-up Gonna break it in out at Kermit the right way..WOT Quote

I feel your pain for sure but can't keep from laughing...intakes in the microwave is always a recipe for disaster. Next time try a small bit of grease. My GRR intakes were tighter than turtle pussy and a little grease helped slide the carbs right in.... Quote
