gd97 Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 Does anybody know if it matters if the black and red wires on my 97 shee coil are reversed? And if it does, can you please tell me which one goes where and what problems it could causeif they are reveresed. Quote
BenBB Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 It'll run either way, technically the orange wire should go on the "+" terminal and the black wire on the "-" terminal (the markings are on the coil near the terminals). Quote
gd97 Posted August 20, 2005 Author Report Posted August 20, 2005 Thanks for the reply. I checked it and they were reversed but it still ran but I have a miss on the left cylinder so I was just hopeing it would be that simple. Seems I have had nothing but problems since I put on my Rickey Stator adjustable timing plate and advanced the timing 4 deg. But I can't seem to find anything wrong. I have 200 psi. in each cylinder and spark at each. Maybe time to look into the carbs, which I removed to put on a new clutch cable.Left side is running a little rich. Quote
