Handyman Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 (edited) Ok Now that I have the top end rebuilt and tried to go on it's first ride I have problems..... When in gear and when I start to release the clutch it wants to bog and die on me. When I got it moving started surging in first gear. In second gear it didn't seem to do it as bad but it started to back fire. NOt sure what it can be. Possible that it can be the CDI or coil?? Wisco Pro lite pistons 340 mains Clip pos: ???? Air screws: 2 full turns from seated Edited August 2, 2005 by Handyman Quote
DBLtapS Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 backfiring sounds to me like it running lean. Give us more info on your mods and where you live Quote
