mud91 Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 opened up my carbs to mess with the needle and noticed some white stuff almost like grease on the bottom of the slides. Any ideas what this is. I was working on them when it started to mist so maybe it was the rain and oil not mixing. Quote

Is this the first time you have opened your carbs up. Its possible that it is some lithium grease or something of that nature that the previous owner applied to the slides so they wouldn't stick. other than that, i have no other ideas for ya! Quote
