O.K. here is the latest ive come to

i got lazy when i pulled the plugs a bit ago and didnt want to clean them so i put a new pair in and it fired FIRST KICK :shootself: i let it warm up and took it for a spin and it still kinda bogged out in 1st and 2nd. then i shut it down and it fired at about 3 kicks ,ran it some more, shut it down and it took 10+ kicks to get it to fire, ran it , shut down and it would not fire after alot of kicks bangheadbanghead

so i think that i may have some kind of carb problem that is fouling my plugs just super quick and ther hotter the engine gets the more the problem is purpetuated by maybe a slightly weak spark by fouling plugs

i was going to switch a stator assembly into irt but didnt realize that it needs a special puller. I have a pile of puller's and none of them will work :shootself:

do u guys think that a super rich prob could cause what has been happening(is too rich, runs like ass till it winds up enough to eat all that feul , meanwhile fouling the plugs till it just wont start) one problem leads to another.

the only problem is that when i do hot plug runs they look TEXTBOOK PERFECT :shrugani::shrugani:

I guess it is possible that it could be your pilot. Now that I think of it I did a complete Vitos jet kit. It would start first kick every time without ever using the choke but ran like a champ until it got warm and wouldn't start. I rejetted and went to a 30 pilot, new needle and 310 mains and never had a problem again. Now I have to choke to the first click on any day less than 90 degrees. 2 clicks for under 65.

You needle and mains could be perfect but everytime you let off the throttle you could be loading it up (0 - 1/8 throttle) then burning it back off with a wide open hot run.

Just for kicks.... after you have to pull start it once, as to know you are in the range of a fouled plug or such. Run it wide open for a little ways, on a long straight trail or road or something, for about a 1/2 - 1 mile and kill it like you were doing a hot plug run. Hit the kill switch with it pegged full throttle then pull the clutch. See if you can kick it over like this. Its possible that after idling you are fouling the plugs out due to small pilot.....maybe I am way off, just tryin to think of something other than electrical. Because that is all hit or miss it seems.

Have you backed out the pilot screws yet or checked to see how far out they are. Your needle could be super rich too. I think you said you checked your airfilter right?

dll, Yes you can have spark and stator be bad. I am not guarenteeing this is your problem, but is very possible. Goku, I can't explain why it doesn't run ok in first and second then clears up. I can tell you you will probably foul plugs w/a week spark. If before this problem started your jetting was ok, I wouldn't think you would be extremely rich. I could see an all of a sudden lean condition on something if you sprung an airleak, but not suddenly rich.
