i actually started my bike this weekend without using the choke whatsoever, and it idled first kick and from there no problem. temp around 10-25 C. This normal?

also have you ever heard abouth the 2-stroke oil that i mentioned? is it any good?

At 10 degrees C you should be using the choke on the first notch, and at 25 degrees C you should be on the verge of not needing to pull the choke at all.

I think you're rich on your pilot circuit. ... How many turns are you out from seated on the air screws? As I said above, you should be in the range of 1 1/2 to 2 turns out.

You should need to use the choke (on the first notch) at ambient temps of under about 25 C. ... I know I'm rich on that circuit 'cos I can start the bike at 20 C without the choke. ... Below that temp, using the choke, within 5 seconds or so of being fired up I can put the choke off and it'll idle fine.

I don't know anything about your oil.

Rare.

i'll have to try the trick of spraying around the boots and reed cages and see what happens. i have pc pipes and silencers, pro flow foams w/o the lid, around 1200ft,needle at 4th clip, and running 360 mains. that's just what shee liked to get a nice little ring with the plug chops. there are way to many variables to say exactly what any jetting should be at. do a plug chop and put in what makes her happy ;)
