badazztoyz Posted June 19, 2005 Report Posted June 19, 2005 (edited) I have a 96 shee with fmf fatty pipes+stock silencers, k&n with no airbox and i put in 260 main jets and it never seems to wanna get on the pipe and it sort of just sputters... I cant think that at my elevation i could use a 300+ jetsize so i wanted to see if anyone else here was around my elevation and wanted to see what mine they are running. I hold it WOT and it just stays in midrange right on the edge of hitting the pipes but just never gets there Also maybe thinking this might be ignition related but the bike ran good before i added the filters, pipes, jets. Thanks guys Edited June 19, 2005 by badazztoyz Quote

Animalman294 Posted June 20, 2005 Report Posted June 20, 2005 My dad runs a set of fatty's with a K&N and is running a 270 with a dial a jet. Most of our riding is at about 2000 feet, but we also go to Sand Mountain NV which is at 4000 feet. He only changes the dial a click or two and it runs great...... Quote
