Changed back to thumb now have problems

The plugs were black and oily when I took them out.

 

Hi Neil, this is the problem mate it was bought from Clocker! say no more, he isn't sure what jets it has in it, but would too much/not enough fuel mean a smokey bike?

From the sound of it the quad is running rich.Take the float bowls off the and remove the brass jet in the centre and tell us what size it is.Black oily plugs are a sign of being rich.The porcelain of the plug should be a chocolate brown colour.Don't trust what Clocker says to be gospel.
