twin2smoker Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 I was wondering if any of you have ever bent the u shape part of you fram where the stem and radiator atach, it is barely bent, but at the weld of the gussets there seems to be cracks in the weld, I was wonder what I should do besides a new fram thanks guys Quote
ScrewMachine Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 Oh yeah, my buddy bent the hell outta that. Long story, but the bike basically fell about 15 feet flat on it's top. Bar was bent back into the gas tank so far we had a helluva time gettin it out. Eventually ended using a bottle jack to straighten it back out. Field repair all the way, but it worked and he's still riding it. Which way is it bent? How bad are the cracks? Maybe post some pics if ya got 'em. Quote
SANDSTAR Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 Stock Banshee frames crack really bad. Straighten it out and reweld with gussets if it is structural. If its not a critical piece of the frame, who cares? Quote
