reknelb Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 I notice on alot of dirt bikes when they start overboring they also have the head machined to match (squish angle and such.) I'm helping a friend rebuild his 1mm over engine and was wondering if this was something that you banshee gents do also. When you buy a hot rods crank, does it come ready to drop in and is it welded? Thanks in advance. Quote
Ducman Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 If its 1mm over you dont need to do anything to the head, only if you install big bore Big bore sleeve and pistons. The hot rod crank comes ready to drop in. I think you have to request that it be welded when you order it, not sure on that one. Quote

The 4mm stroker crank the h129 does come welded from the factory. Quote
