lyrch Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 I have replaced 3 CDI units, stator, coil & wires, key switch, removed TORS, check and sealed stator cover, check and sealed all connectors, the Shee runs great, except when I wash it, than its takes 2 days to dry out before runs good again, I have watch the timming with a light when it malfunctions, its firing all over the place. The last time a got inpatient, and burned holes in the pistons. Quote

JA66 Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 I don't know about Banshee electrical systems, but on some cars, if it hasn't been washed under the hood for a long time and there is alot of grime build-up, then when you do wash under the hood and dont get all that dirt off, it will soak up the water, become conductive and short things out.
