justinklumb29 Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 Just rebuildt my shee from the ground up. I got the engine back together today and just wanted to check for spark before i called it a night. And there was none. I did put an adjustable timing plate on and when i tighten the flywheel nut it actually rubs up against the screws that hold the wires for the stator on?!?. I dont know if this is the problem or not. Is there anything else that i could of just overlooked. ANd they key was on Quote
BenBB Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 The flywheel shouldn't hit those bolts, are you sure you got the timing plate fully seated against the case? It's kind of a tight fit, you need to make sure the bolts that hold the plate to the case are all the way in, and double check the wiring on the stator so nothing rubs or pinches... Quote
justinklumb29 Posted June 1, 2005 Author Report Posted June 1, 2005 its the stator, i tested it today and it didnt have any resistance. I will have to check to see if the plate is all the way in or not. Quote
