I just got some new lights and a temp guage. The lights only have two wires on them, so iam guessing that it is just on or off no hi or low. But my question is what two colored wires do i hook them up too. I was looking at a wiring diagaram and was thinking yellow and black but am not just. Also the temp guage needs to hook up to the lights for power would this hook up to the yellow one?

I have the trail tech lights and I wired them up to the black and yellow wires. When the switch is on high the lights are on. When the switch is on low or off the lights are off. You are correct in assuming there is no low beam only high. I believe black is ground and yellow is high beam. You can hook up the temp gauge to the lights but then it will only work when the lights are on.

there is a red and yellow wire coming down from your kill switch that is regulated and hot all the time.
