97sicshee Posted May 15, 2005 Report Posted May 15, 2005 O5' shee just put on pro design cool head with 22cc domes and disconected tors wiring but left tors units on top of carbs. bike smokes horribly and is boggish until w.o.t. bike also has toomey t5 exhaust and air cleaner kit with toomey's recommended jetting. bike ran great until installation of domes and removing tors wiring. any help would be greatly appriciated Quote
locogato11283 Posted May 15, 2005 Report Posted May 15, 2005 you should sell it and buy a 450 369612[/snapback] ur an idiot. when you say its smoking is it exhaust smell or antifreeze burning? since you just installed the domes it makes me think that an o ring might be out of place allowing the motor to suck antifreeze in. check your coolant level and see if it has dropped since you put it in after the install of the domes. it might not be sucking enough to make a difference when youre WOT but just enough to fuck up the bottom end and midrange... 05dopeshee Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 I removed it to put a twist throttle on, then the problem started, so I put the thumb throttle back on thinking the problem was the carb tops from the kit. unfortunatly, it didn't fix the problem. now I have the stock carb tops back on and the wires are cut off and the cool head was installed at the same time.
