ke398 Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 I have a 96' Shee, its my first Banshee. The Clutch works fine, but it is very hard to squeeze. I am assuming the cable hasnt seen a bit of maintenance in years (no lube). The bike came with a new cable, and I want to know if I need to adjust the clutch, or if I can just install the new cable. I have a Clymers (also came with the quad). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote

If not, you need to adjust the clutch by dropping the oil and removing the side cover. This pic shows where the arrows line up when you push the linkage. (The socket is just holding it there for the pic). . I would fit the new cable anyway and see how it is then. Follow the instructions in your Clymer on how to make the adjustments. ... Easy to do.
