03bansheeLE Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 I had this problem once and it was actually because my engine was running very rich, the excessive amount of gas and oil fouled one of my plugs and then the other plug fired and the fuel ignited causing a very loud "crack" because there as so much fuel in the cylinder. I took my plugs out and wiped them off, wire brushed them and then ran a torch over them to heat them up a bit, then kicked the bike over a couple times with the fuel off and the plugs in to clean it out. turned the fuel back on and she sarted right up.
