Any of you guys from the Glamis area, my brother and I are talking about making a trip, leaving May 16. How is the weather? If it is to late in the season and we are hitting high 80's we will probabally pass but if it is still 70ish we will put the gas money down and make the trip. Any tips would be appreciated.

Its hard to say. May is usually the end of the season but it's also very hard to predict the temperature during this time of the year. Your best bet is going to be watching the forecast for a week before you go. It could easily be in the 70's or it could hit triple digits. Some of us are going out for a last trip Mother's Day weekend (I think that's the 8th). If I were you I'd plan 2 trips, the first to Glamis, the 2nd somewhere cooler just in case Glamis is too hot. That way you get to go riding no matter what.

No way will we see 70's again out here till October.

We were there April 9th, 83 was the high.

There again on April 16th, hit 99 by 11am on Saturday.

If you don't like heat, don't go until next Halloween.

Full moon night rides are a blast, typically high 70's to low 80's. We do a few during the summer months.
