I'm sure this is what happens when you remove the e-brake, but how do you fix it?

I removed the e-brake, took the cable off the bike and installed the block off plate. Now how do I get the bike to run? It won't rev up the bike, like its being starved of fuel. The cable still left on the bike has the (what appears to be a sensor of some sort) with the male end that has to be pushed in.

How do I disconnect the sensor, or is there a another way to fix this problem.

Thanks in advance!

I could be wrong, but just unplug it. It's been a long time since I did mine, but I am almost positive that's what I did. Track the wires down in the harness and pull.
