jeffro189 Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 i have a set of pro circuit pipe that i bought new about 4 years ago, and they just dont look that good any more. i want them to shine like new, but every time i polish them they start to get surface rust on them a few days later. is there any way to make them look new again? if so how much does it cost. i dont want to paint them either. ledofthezep Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 What polish are you using? You could look into getting them ceramit or jet hot coated. That's what I plan on doing with mine once they get shitty. Quote
jeffro189 Posted April 13, 2005 Author Report Posted April 13, 2005 do you know how much it costs, and where it can be done? Quote
ellison445 Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 I have t-5's...I used steel wool and and simplegreen to get the rust off. After the rust is off get yourself a bottle of (the must for rust) and yes, thats what its called . Spray the pipes down and that will protect you from rust for a year. Then polish them up with some mothers and your good to go! i have a set of pro circuit pipe that i bought new about 4 years ago, and they just dont look that good any more. i want them to shine like new, but every time i polish them they start to get surface rust on them a few days later. is there any way to make them look new again? if so how much does it cost. i dont want to paint them either. 354551[/snapback] Quote
