Yea, pipe mfg's. :P

 

With 2 stroke pipes, it is very crucial to get the tuning right to match the flow of your motor. The belly of the pipe produces waves that pull the air/fuel through in a more efficient manner. The size of the belly designates the size of the wave and that's how they make different style pipes (i.e. top end, mid, low end, etc).

 

You may already know this, but I wasn't sure. It is a time consuming process to build a set of pipes to perform how you want them. You should have a dyno handy to see how it affects what area. I doubt this is something the normal atv rider really wants to get into and it's a lot more than just putting on 2" pipe to a muffler like 4 strokes, granted there is a little more to it than that with 4 strokes, but you get my point.
