FULL_METAL_JACKT_II Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 (edited) is there any way to get that little bit of LEFT RIGHT play outh of the seat? all the rubber seat inserts are in just another dumb Question. Quee Queg Edited April 7, 2005 by FULL_METAL_JACKT_II Quote
1sreamin350 Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 I think if you some how extend the rubber mounts that are right below the seat, that may do the trick. Quote
locogato11283 Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 take a hammer and whack that piece that holds the seat up front down. just go a little at a time until the play is gone. both my bikes i have done it to and they have no play in the seat. it will bend easily with a hammer and wont affect anything else. RNBRAD Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 The frame bridge where the front of the seat lips to can be bent a little further down. I actually used a rubber mallet and tapped it down a tad and the seat fits much better without all the slop and side to side movement. Quote

tamungas Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 well im new to this forum thing but i had the same problem with my 2kshee and i took the stock rubber bumper plugs that are located in the frame in front of the pipes. im not sure if they are originally used for the stock pipes but they fit(really tight) into the bottom of the seat, totally fixxed my problem... super easy fix L8TR...
