CombatTalon2 Posted April 6, 2005 Report Posted April 6, 2005 Call Quicksand and see what they recommend doing with THEIR setup 350667[/snapback] I run a Quicksand Swing arm with my mods, and Gary of course runs his 10 mil stroker with a +8 Arm and i have never heard him say anything about slippage. I would just tighten it down some more... Quote
racer Posted April 6, 2005 Report Posted April 6, 2005 i think id tighten it more also. the more i think about it, you cant go wrong by doing this. youre not gonna warp that housing, and youre surely not gonna fuck up that swingarm. the worst that could happen would be the bolt breaking, then you just go get a grade 8 of the same size. rebelbanshee2 Posted April 6, 2005 Author Report Posted April 6, 2005 gary recommended a piece of sanding screen for sanding drywall...said it was what the draggers use. I thought of set screws but ill probably try another carrier before i start drilling and tapping my expensive swingarm... Quote
