pro line Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 I've been trying to figure this out for awhile and can't do it. When i get on it, the first 3/4 of throtle of every gear its fine, but when i open it up to the final 1/4 it boggs like hell. I've had no problems with my setup until now. I have checked the main jets (175-205), air screws (.5 turns-2 turns), compression (170-175), air leaks, and head o-rings. From those i cant figure out whats wrong. the only reason i havent changed the pilot and needle is that i have ran this exact setup in the same weather last year and it was fine. cool head (19cc domes) t-5's v-force reads 28 keihns w/clamp ons dune port boost bottle (just kidding) advance timing +4 thanks for all the help a head of time Quote
FIRST BANSHEE Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 usually a bog on the top end is due to a rich condition, it runs good up to 3/4 throttle and bogs down after that, I would say you need to down jet. Quote
