I took my banshee up the road the other day about a mile. on the way back it started backfiring. it got worse the further i went. It quit running before i got back. Now it wont start. It will backfire loudly every couple kicks. It also seems to be binding up. Every few kicks the bike simply wont turn over. I can stand on the kickstand. Try it again and its fine. Would a warped crank cause this problem? Any other suggestions? Thanks

pull the plugs look for aluminum. sounds like you broke a piston, and a piece of it is sutck between the crank, and the lower case.

quit standing on the kicker. if a chunk of piston is stuck you will break something.

Yeah, you most likely broke a piston skirt, or ring. I would quit trying to kick it because it can dig into the cylinder walls and really tear shit up. Get ya a 12mm wrench and pop the tops <_<
