bigb3521 Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 2003 shee with T-6's, boyseen pro series and dual K&N filter. running at sea level. Just installed new wisco power pistions. can not get the damn thing jetted. Running 280 mains, 27.5 pilots and needle at clip four. Iv tried dropping one to two sizes on the main like boyseen said but no luck. tried going up one to two sizes and still no luck. Quote
FIRST BANSHEE Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 you didn't describe how it was running, but i'm gog to guess lean. you might ge away with the 280 mains with a stock air box, but with dual k&n filters i would try something in the 310- 330 range, with the clip in the forth spot from top. good luck Quote
bigb3521 Posted March 20, 2005 Author Report Posted March 20, 2005 it is running lean i just got done working on it. i am at a 30 pilot, needle on the 3rd clip and 320 mains. its finally starting to get close to running. i also have the toomey needles. i have heard that they suck. i dont know if changing them would help me or not. spoin39 Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 Toomey needles are great! They don't pop out and stick the throttle open! Otherwise, I think you are getting closer, go bigger on the mains if you have pod filters. Quote
