Tail light change out

I would like to put an old style Banshee tail light on my 2003.

Will my existing brackets accept the smaller tailight?

Or what would you need to do / or parts to have, to make one work?

Doesn't matter that it's tail light only, I don't care about the brake light anyway.

I personally like the looks of the old style light better than the one I have on now.

 

Got an old style one for sale? I'm interested in it if they will fit.
