munkenaround Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 It seems like all the public riding areas around here require spark arrestors but it doesnt seem like very many pipe manufacturers make a decent looking setup. How does everyone get away with not having sparkys? I'd hate to screw up my style with bolt on sparkys but have to have em. what gives? Quote
Wallrat Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 Personally I think the FMF turbine cores look pretty decent but if you're not running fmf's then you might try installing some metal screen in your current silencers. Around here the rangers check by sticking a wire into your silencer. If it stops your legal, if it keeps going you get a ticket. Quote
superdave Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 I have Toomey T-6's...it seems that people do not like them, but one of the reason I got Toomey is because their hush kit can be ordered with a spark arrestor....and it cuts the DB's to 87.....I really like it...and My banshee seems to run real well.....D Quote
