dawgfan Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 I folded up my left side A-arm(stock) today by severly over jumping a tabletop, everybody else seemed to enjoy the shit out of it though. Anyway I figure I finally got a good excuse to go with a +2 set up I've been wanting. Is there really that much difference between that and a long travel set-up? I don't race competitively, so would it be worth the extra $$$$? I realize a good set of shocks makes a world of difference. I was just gonna get a +2+1 set, and maybe throw in a good set of aftermarket shocks with rezzies a little later on, but I figure if I'm gonna spend some money, I may as well explore all my options. Any opinions? Oh, anyone use a +3+1 a-arm? Or +2+2? how you like them? As always, thanks in advance......and anyone with a good used set, hook me up Quote
MonkeyBoy Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Without opening up a can of worms, you'll be fine with the standard travel setup. That's what most people make for the Banshee anyway. AFAIK only Jansen (I think),So Cal Fab, and Roll Design make a true long travel Banshee front end. Quote

Fireman-hott Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 Your stock brake lines will fit fine, mine do. You can use stock tie rod ends also, but you will need longer tie rods. Quote
stclark816 Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 If you go with Quicksand, Gary will ask you if you want tie rods. Tell him you do. They are pretty heavy duty and look good too. Quote

I also used my stock brake lines for a couple weeks...but you'll like the SS line better for performance (and looks). I bent my stock tie rod ends and bought some Tusk ends...doin the job so far.
