MILO Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 looks like i'm gonna at least need to get a plate and spring kit, probably the Tusk OR kit unless someone has some major objections. should i get the heavy duty kit or the standard. i've been told the hd kit makes the clutch really hard to pull. SICK BOY Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 I had a dirt digger clutch and spring kit,and the clucth was hard to pull and snapy.I have heard a lot of good stuff about the Tusk kits, and i will try one next time I need a clutch. Quote
Duneslider350 Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 I put a heavy duty clutch in but I left half of the springs stock and the other half the HD and the pull wasn't too bad but I then bought an easy pull clutch lever and now it is great. Later Bryan Quote
rocketboy Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 (edited) ive had a barnett kevlar clutch before my 29$ tusk kit,the tusk is actually a better design!it has perforations to aid in cooling and oil retention on the plates! and as far as hd itis, fibers are beefy and the springs are what effect your pull on the lever, run 3 stiffy ebc springs(6$) and 3 stock springs equally offset and youll be a happy man and have some money in your wallet Edited March 13, 2005 by rocketboy Quote
