The slides are matched to the carbs so if they get put in the wrong one they A. will have the cutaway to the front(cylinder side) or B. they will not go down all the way. J-Madd Posted March 10, 2005 Report Posted March 10, 2005 Looking through the filter end of the carb, it would appear that the slides don't tough, because of the cut-out portion of the slides. If the slides were not actually all the way down, it wouldn't start....I know from experience with a bad throttle cable that kept the slides up. If you want to be sure, take off the carbs and look through the intake end. There the slides should be nearly touching the carb. Quote
