bigboybanshee Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 Yep, 20 ft/lbs is the number. But, before I went at it a full 20, I torqued them all to 15 ft/lbs, then 18, and then to 20. Maybe it's just me but I wanted to be sure that puppy was sitting on there perfectly even Quote
NEVER SATISFIED Posted March 7, 2005 Author Report Posted March 7, 2005 20 ft/lbs is where i torqued mine. 334975[/snapback] thank you sir... much easier to get a response then to call up david and bother him while he's runnin that cnc... appreciate it again man! Quote
Big Blue Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 Also after you ride it re torque them again. Quote
NEVER SATISFIED Posted March 7, 2005 Author Report Posted March 7, 2005 THERE GOING TO BE A MASSIVE POWER GAIN FROM A STOCK HEAD TO THIS NOSS 19CC HEAD? I HAVENT FIRED IT UP YET... Quote
dlnoss Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Like everyone else said, 18 to 20 ft/lbs. Orings are much more forgiving than head gaskets where torque is concerned. Don't worry about calling; I don't ever mind. From stock to 19cc,,,yes there will be quite a difference. Let us know after you ride it. -David Quote
