hey guys. well i was riding today and i was just practicing some cornering and then all of a sudden my shee died. it wont kick over anymore or anything. could it be the stator again because this has happened to me before. could a wire of broke?if its my stator im going to be really mad because i just got a new one last summer. can you guys help me out. im going to go wash it off now then go check for spark. ill tell ya what i figure out. thanks later

Generally when an engine dies very quickly while riding its an electrical issue. Happened to me when I landed a jump once. Tires hit the ground and it just bogged out, stopped and died. Turned out that one of the wires popped off of the coil. Took me about 30 seconds to figure it out and get her running again. I'd look at the wire connections first and see what you find.

ya i just got back. i checked for spark but i couldnt see anything. i was thinking that just a wire broke. i hope thats all and its not the stator cause when my other one went it cost me $700 to get it fixed :blink:

Dunno what the factory ones cost, but Ricky Stator's 200 watt is like a third of that.

700$ with labor ???? why the labor bill :D to replace your stator? can you flush a toilet or ring a doorbell?

that happened to me too. but it took me a mile of pushing before i thought about checking the coil.

no like it wont fire thats what i mean by kick over. and i thought a stator would be hard to install.

So look and see for yourself before going and blowing all that $. Thats just being lazy. All you gotta do is put a post up and everybody here will be more than happy to help.
