bansheefreestyler Posted March 6, 2005 Report Posted March 6, 2005 hey guys. well i was riding today and i was just practicing some cornering and then all of a sudden my shee died. it wont kick over anymore or anything. could it be the stator again because this has happened to me before. could a wire of broke?if its my stator im going to be really mad because i just got a new one last summer. can you guys help me out. im going to go wash it off now then go check for spark. ill tell ya what i figure out. thanks later Quote
Wallrat Posted March 6, 2005 Report Posted March 6, 2005 Generally when an engine dies very quickly while riding its an electrical issue. Happened to me when I landed a jump once. Tires hit the ground and it just bogged out, stopped and died. Turned out that one of the wires popped off of the coil. Took me about 30 seconds to figure it out and get her running again. I'd look at the wire connections first and see what you find. Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted March 7, 2005 Author Report Posted March 7, 2005 ya i just got back. i checked for spark but i couldnt see anything. i was thinking that just a wire broke. i hope thats all and its not the stator cause when my other one went it cost me $700 to get it fixed Quote
