njbanshee Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 My banshee has a 4mm stroker kit, coolhead with 17cc domes, i run vp 112, v-force reeds, lightened fly wheel, advanced timing +4, toomey t-5's, will have aftermarket intakes on soon, and i'm debateing if i should put my reed spacers back on. With the Keihin 33mm carbs what adjustments should i make to run as fast and reliable as possible? Thanks in advance. Quote
locogato11283 Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 id say 42 to 48 pilot and between 158 and 168 main. whats your elevation and temperature? Quote
JKJK Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 I run a very similar set up with kein 28's,boss intakes,+no reed spacers. My optium jetting at sea level @70deg is a 48 pilot,165 main, clip on the leanist setting,1+ 3/4out on the air screws.Thats with k+n clamp ons.Do a W.O.T. plug chop.Dial in the mains first+then work your way down through the rest of the circuits.Only change or adj one thing at a time+test. This will take some time+patience, but it will be well worth it.
