Holyman Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 My boss was looking over the phone bill and found some weird numbers that don't relate to work that are now disconnected or unavailable. Does anyone have access to REAL phone ID and not just a Google search. We want to know who these numbers were connected to. Quote

The phone company can do it as well, but I'm not sure if they will do it on a number just because....here in Utah, you have to alert the phone company on the first call, then there has to be at least 3 more calls from the same number and you have to notify them each time. Then, they can get around to letting you know who the number is, except they don't. They give the number to the local sherrifs department and you still can't get it, but you pay for it. I guess they don't want any wild west justice to be served on some scrub. Quote
rjvoight Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 (edited) The best I can come up with that is free would be anywho.com. If the number is listed you can use a reverse lookup and you will find it. If they are not listed it is a pain and you may never know. Contact the phone company, they may tell you if it was a business number vs. a private number. Try information, give them the number and see if they can tell you anything. These are both long shots but you never know. RJV Edited March 1, 2005 by rjvoight Quote
SICK BOY Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 If you call the phone company, and question the calls they should be able to give you the name the line was in. Quote

boonman Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 There is alot of cool shit that can be done with a phone. Most of it costs $$ to a company that can provide the services for you though. I am real close to getting into all that sort of shit. In 3 weeks. Special business be coming my way.... It may mean the end of Boon tune's though. We'll see... Quote

It's all about money when it all said and done... Quote
