05Special Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 i dropped my bike off the other day to have the exhaust reeds, head, and have it jetted all done. Well i went there yesterday when he sid it was done, thank god i took it for a ride, with all them mods i actually lost power, i dropped the bike off at the front door of the place after i took it for a ride around the guy lot, walked inside and threw him the key, a simple" I'll be back to pick it up tomnorrow" was all that was needed, just hope they dot fuck it up, i can't do it myself as i have a shed big enough for mu bike to barely it and temperatures of like 15 degrees or so, anyways to do all this it cost me 200 bucks, i think thats more than fair if you ask me. when i rode the bike it rode good till you get to high rpms and it would sputter like bastard, im not sure what it could have been but i'll find out when i go back tonight....... i'll keep you up to date.... 05Special Posted February 25, 2005 Author Report Posted February 25, 2005 I run 110 straight, they said they jetted the bike but who knows, as long as i get it back and everythings right and nothing fucked up Quote
ellison445 Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 I hope they know you run 110 straight!!! Some shops seem like they don't know shit, I suggest you buy 2 plugs and do a plug check in there lot to make sure there jetting is good. With the mods your putting you should have felt a hell of a difference. What's your elevation? and what jetting did they currently have on her? I run 110 straight, they said they jetted the bike but who knows, as long as i get it back and everythings right and nothing fucked up 329564[/snapback] Quote

Blacksmith Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 While I hear what you guys are saying about it being cold out there, I have to say, I would bring my shee in the house and work on it in the livingroom before I would let some dealer shop hack get his hands on her. TBob, if you are reading this, you know I mean YOU. LOL Quote
