info on paddles

i ride a few sandpits locally that aren't all too big, but on of them has soft sand, i was looking at getting a set of paddles to throw on when i ride in these dunes,yet some of the terrain surrounding it is a little more hardpacked, how fats do they wwear out in harder conditions, not like trail hard but harder packed sand or gravel, thanks

They wear out quickly when not on sand...Might want to look at Skat-Track Desert Storms or the other version that is similar, they look interesting but I have never bought a set...

 

I have a set of Skate II's for sale for $100 on blue lable, they are 5 years old (sand use only) and a bit worn but your going to go through them quickly anyways...I can take pics if your interested.

not sure how fast paddles would wear, since they are designed for sand use i would assume that they would not last long on harder gravel surfaces. Like Justintoxicated said look into different paddle designs like the dessert storms or the terrain traks. those tires are designed for harder surfaces.

skat trak make some costly tires, but maybe you could find another brand with a similar tred pattern.
